Course Aim
To equip learners with the essential knowledge and confidence to respond effectively to a range of common first aid incidents before professional medical help arrives.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider.

- Manage shock, bleeding, burns, choking, and unconsciousness.
- Record and report incidents in line with workplace requirements.
Requirements
- Be 16 years or older
- Have a basic understanding of English (reading/writing)
- Be physically able to perform basic first aid tasks such as CPR (if applicable for face-to-face sessions)
- No prior medical or first aid knowledge is required—this is an introductory awareness course
