- Introduction to First Aid and Legal RequirementsThis module lays the foundation for all subsequent learning by introducing the core principles, legal context, and responsibilities surrounding first aid. It ensures learners understand not only what first aid is, but also their role within it whether in a care setting, workplace, or public environment.7
- Assessing an IncidentThis module teaches learners how to approach an emergency situation safely and effectively. Correct assessment is the foundation of first aid it allows the first aider to understand the severity of the situation, prioritise their actions, and reduce risks for themselves and others.7
- CPR and Basic Life SupportThis critical module equips learners with the skills and knowledge to respond to cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, and unconsciousness, using internationally recognised best practices. Performing CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and administering basic life support can dramatically increase survival rates until emergency services arrive.10
