LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – The Ingham County Health Department has announced the recipients of grants that aim to reduce healthcare funding gaps and disparities.
The Department awarded two types of grants: 2025 Tri-County Social Determinants of Health Hub Grants and the Ingham County Community Health Improvement (CHIP) Mini Grant.
The Hub Grants aim to address “social determinants” of health in Ingham, Clinton and Eaton Counties. The funding comes from the state Department of Health and Human Services. Awardees include:
• Allen Neighborhood Center
• Boys and Girls Club of Lansing
• Caring and Sharing, Clinton County Council for Prevention, and Elsie Baby Pantry
• Citizens for Prison Reform
• Clinton County Ambulance Service Authority
• Eaton Community Health, Power of We, Clinton Building Stronger Communities Collaboration • His Hands and Child and Family Charities
• Mid-Michigan Recovery Services
• One Love Global
• Sugar Smart and Lansing Latino Health Alliance
• Women’s Center of Greater Lansing
CHIP Mini Grants aim to increase access to healthcare, fund behavioral health and housing initiatives.

• Lansing School District
• North Star Birthing Services
• Punks with Lunch
